Being GRATEFUL truly grateful can change your life!Instead of being thankful at certain times of the year; practising daily gratitude can increase the quality of your life.In fact, gratitude may be one of the most overlooked tools that we all have access to every day.Cultivating gratitude doesn’t cost any money and it certainly doesn’t take much time, but the benefits are enormous.
These are my reasons why I am going to share my space in May to practise gratitude and help you set up a new practise of daily gratitude to improve your life.Gratitude opens the door to more relationships. Not only does saying “thank you” constitute good manners, but showing appreciation can help you form stronger genuine friendships!
Gratitude improves physical health! Grateful people experience fewer aches and pains and you may find yourself feeling healthier.(There was a study published not long ago) When you are grateful for your health it increases your energy and interest to add more exercise!Plus you are more likely to attend regular check-ups with your doctor, which is likely to contribute to further longevity.Gratitude improves psychological health. Gratitude reduces a multitude of toxic emotions, ranging from envy and resentment to frustration and regret.Robert A. Emmons, Ph.D., a leading gratitude researcher, has conducted multiple studies on the link between gratitude and well-being.His research confirms that gratitude effectively increases happiness and reduces depression.When you focus on the positive things to be grateful for, you create more of that feel good energy!Gratitude enhances empathy and reduces aggression.Grateful people are more likely to behave in a prosocial manner, even when others behave less kind!You experience more sensitivity and empathy toward other people and a decreased desire to seek revenge.Grateful people sleep better.Writing in a gratitude journal improves sleep!Spend just 15 minutes jotting down a few grateful sentiments before bed, and you may sleep better and longer.Gratitude improves self-esteem.Being grateful for the person you are! Which is an essential component to optimal performance.This can also help you reduce social comparisons.Rather than becoming resentful toward people who have more money or better jobs – which is a major factor in reduced self-esteem- grateful people are able to appreciate other people’s accomplishments.Gratitude increases mental strength.For years, research has shown gratitude not only reduces stress, but it may also play a major role in overcoming trauma.Recognizing all you have to be thankful for, even during the worst times of your life can give you the strength for your future!We all have ability to be grateful!I am going to share with you, my gratitude practise and how my morning routine has transformed my life!These are quick 5-10 minute videos in my exclusive support group, for us to connect and share 28 days of gratitude!I am 100% aligned to offering support and truly being of service, not just because it suits me or it benefits me!In fact sharing my gratitude's with you is my way of being able to give back & help you during hard times to keep your energy high, your vibration aligned, your wealth strong & truly be grateful for the life we live!
